A full weekend of the best line dance instruction, live country music, and host of the World Line Dance Championships spread over four ballrooms in the Winter Gardens in Blackpool.
Ticket Access & Times:
World Dance Masters Championships start on Thursday in the Empress Ballroom. No other ballrooms are open on Thursday until the optional pre-party (ticket purchased separately during checkout). All ticket types allow access to the Empress Ballroom on Thursday.
Social & Workshops officially start on Friday, with workshops beginning at 10 am and social dancing each evening until the early hours of the following morning. Only tickets marked 'with Workshops' include access to Spanish Hall, Arena, and Pavilion during the day session (between 10 am and 5 pm).
Ticket Types:
Social Dancing with Workshops - Adult & Child tickets that include access to all workshops, social dancing, and access to the Empress Ballroom to watch the Line Dance Championships whenever you want. This ticket includes access to the event from Thursday - Sunday, but note that no social workshops or social dancing will take place on Thursday; social dancing will start with the pre-party on Thursday evening as an optional extra.
We ask that you select the ticket type for the room where you are likely to spend the most time. We don't restrict access to any ballroom with this ticket, but we do like to manage capacity in the rooms through this question, as we know most people have a strong preference for a particular social room.
Competitor with Workshops - Adult, Child, Starter, and Rugrats & Tiny Tots tickets that include access to all workshops and social dancing across the weekend. A Child ticket is for eligible dancers dancing in divisions below Young Adult. This ticket includes access to the event from Thursday - Sunday.
Competitor Only - Adult, Child, Starter, and Rugrats & Tiny Tots tickets do not include workshops or access to Spanish Hall & Arena during workshops, or to all ballrooms for evening social dancing. A Child ticket is for eligible dancers dancing in divisions below Young Adult. This ticket includes access to the event from Thursday - Sunday.
Spectator Tickets - General spectator tickets that do not include workshops and access to Spanish Hall & Arena when workshops are taking place. Including access to all ballrooms for evening social dancing. Includes access to Empress Ballroom for Competition at all times. This ticket includes access to the event from Thursday - Sunday.
Non-Dancing Youth - a ticket for children who do not dance. Children under the age of 3 are admitted free of charge and do not require a ticket. This ticket includes access to the event from Thursday - Sunday.
Spectator Limited Mobility - This add-on is free for Spectators attending the event who have mobility issues (such as using a walking frame or requiring a guide stick due to visual impairment) and need extra time to enter the ballrooms. WDM will try to assist in making accommodations for the attendee to enter the ballrooms early.
Day Tickets - we do not sell Day Tickets for World Dance Masters in advance of the event. Day tickets are available to purchase on the door for spectators only. These tickets allow access to the Empress Ballroom to watch the competition but do not allow access to other ballrooms. Day tickets cost approximately 1/3 of a weekend ticket per day. Tickets are available to purchase via card only (no cash payments).
